Largo is delighted to announce it’s first ever Charity Ball and what better way to show support for two very deserving local charities than by joining us for a night of entertainment and fun.  Our chosen charities are:

TS Diomede Barnsley Sea Cadets

Our aim is simple; “To help young people become responsible adults …”

Doors opened on 1st September 1942 as an all male uniformed organisation whose main aim was to supply young men to the Royal Navy.  Over the years, it has evolved to allow females, a junior section for ages 10-12 and a Marine Cadet Detachment.

The unit is a registered charity and has to raise all its own funds with the only support being from the Royal Navy by way of loans of uniforms, boats and some subsidy towards training courses.

Wakefield Hospice

A provider of specialist palliative care for patients, families and carers.

Wakefield Hospice was founded in 1982 and opened in 1990 by the people of Wakefield.

We are committed to providing the highest level of symptom management and care for people who have advanced active, progressive and life threatening illness.

Hospice care is free of charge to patients who have been assessed as in need of specialist palliative care.

Evening of Entertainment includes:

Arrive 7.00 pm for 7.30 pm and begin the evening with a champagne reception before being seated for a sumptuous 3 course meal whilst being entertained by our Table Magician.  Then be prepared for lots of laughs with our comedian Mike Lancaster followed by the opportunity to dance the night away with live music from Peculiar Blue.

Throughout the evening we will be holding a live auction, raffles and various other opportunities to help and encourage you to lighten those wallets/purses, all for a very good cause of course!
